Welcome to Divine Party Rentals! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our services, website, and rental items. By making a booking with us, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Rental Agreement

By renting items from Divine Party Rentals, you agree to the following conditions:
•    Rental Period: The rental period begins upon delivery or pickup of items and ends when the items are returned. Late returns may incur additional fees.
•    Responsibility: You are responsible for the care and return of all rented items in the condition in which they were delivered. Any damage, loss, or theft may result in repair or replacement fees.
•    Usage Restrictions: Rental items are to be used only for their intended purpose and must be handled with care. You agree not to sublease or transfer rented items to any third party without our consent.

2. Reservations and Payments

• Booking: A booking is considered confirmed once we receive a deposit or full payment. We reserve the right to refuse bookings at our discretion.
•  Deposits and Fees:
We require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This deposit guarantees your reservation and is applied toward the total rental cost. The remaining balance must be paid by the date specified in your booking confirmation.
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 7 days before the event date. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will be subject to additional cancellation fees.
•    Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion and are subject to our refund policy, which is available upon request.

3. Delivery and Pickup

•    Delivery Services: We offer delivery services to designated locations. Delivery fees may apply based on distance and order size. Please ensure someone is available to receive items at the scheduled time.
•    Pickup Services: If you opt for self-pickup, you are responsible for securing and transporting items safely. Please return items by the agreed-upon time to avoid late fees.
•    Set-Up and Take-Down: Set-up and take-down services may be available for an additional fee. Arrangements must be made in advance.
Deliveries and pickups for weekday & weekend events are typically scheduled between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. We’ll confirm
your exact time window after your booking is received.

Late pick-up after 7:00 pm will incur a fee of $50 until 9:00 pm.

4. Liability and Indemnity

•    Limitation of Liability: Divine Party Rentals is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by the use of our rental items. You assume all risks associated with the rental and use of our items.
•    Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Divine Party Rentals, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of our rental items.

5. Damage or Loss

•    Inspection: Upon receiving rental items, please inspect them and notify us of any damages or issues immediately.
•    Damage Fees: If items are returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear, you may be responsible for repair or replacement costs.
•    Loss or Theft: In the event of loss or theft of rental items, you will be charged for the full replacement cost of the items.

6. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to events outside our control, including weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

7. Changes to Terms

Divine Party Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfax, VA.
